#1 Preheat oven to 400 F #2 Unroll crust onto a sheet of parchment paper and cut into 3x5 rectangles. Knead the scraps together, roll the crust back out, and repeat the process until all the crust is used up. Lay 8 pieces of cut crust onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper #3 Add about 1 ½ Tbsp of jam to the center of each rectangle. Beat egg and water in a small bowl to create an egg wash. Brush the egg wash around the edges of the rectangle and lay another piece of cut crust on top of the rectangle with the jam. Gently pinch the edges together before using a fork to press and seal the two edges together. Use the same fork to poke a couple of holes on top of the pastry and then brush the whole top, including the edges, with the egg wash #4 Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat this process with all the remaining pastries #5 In a small bowl, whisk together the Urban Meadow organic powdered sugar, Urban Meadow heavy cream, and vanilla extract to create the icing. Once cooled, spread the icing over the top of each pastry. Add sprinkles while the icing is still wet or enjoy as is!
