#1 Preheat oven to 475F #2 In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract #3 In a separate bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients (flour, corn starch, baking soda, and Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt) #4 Gently mix the dry ingredients into the larger bowl with the butter, egg, and sugar mixture #5 Once the batter has formed, Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly combined #6 Using a 1-2 Tbsp ice cream scoop, make cookie dough balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper 2-3 inches apart #7 Bake the cookies for 6-7 minutes or until the tops of the cookies get golden brown #8 Remove from the oven and let them cool. (NOTE: They’ll continue to cook on the inside while they cool) #9 Finish with a sprinkle with Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt on top of the cookies and serve warm.
