#1. Warm vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook whole garlic cloves in oil, until golden and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. #2. Once softened, mash garlic in skillet with a fork. Stir in drained & rinsed pinto beans, cumin, chipotle chili powder, salt & pepper into garlic and cook until beans are thoroughly heated, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. #3. Smash bean mixture with a fork or potato masher to desired texture. #4. Squeeze lime juice over smashed beans and stir until combined.
